Time & Date Changes
For your phone system
It may be necesary to change the time & date on your phone system to reflect changes between GMT and BST.
UK clock changes for 2008 are:
BST begins on 30th March 2008 (clocks go forward 1 hour)
BST ends on 26th October 2008 (clocks go back 1 hour)
NEC XN120
Press a SPK key.
Dial 828.
Dial two digits for the hour (24 hour clock).
Dial two digits for the minutes (00-60).
Press SPK to hang up.
N.B. The date can only be set in system programming.
Samsung Systems
The time and date can be set from any display phone on the
system
Keeping the handset on hook press Transfer key
Dial 200
The display will show enable cus.prog
Enter the administrator password for your system – this is
normally 1234
Press 1 to enable the programming
Press speaker key to enter the programming mode
Dial 505 to access the time and date
Enter 1 digit for the day (1= Monday)
Enter 2 digits for the month
Enter 2 digits for the day
Enter 2 digits for the year
Enter 2 digits for the hour
Enter 2 digits for the minutes
You’ll see the current settings whilst entering the new data
as a guide
When the information is entered press speaker key
Now press transfer key again to exit from programming
Observe new time & date settings in the display
Panasonic A-Series
The time must be changed from extension 10.
From extension 10, with the handset down, press the on/off key,
followed by * and 5
Enter the time in 24 hour format and press on/off to finish.
Panasonic
KX-TD816 / 1232
The time can be changed from the first extension, usually extension
201. This must be a display type telephone.
Press the program key (or pause), followed by the * key twice, followed
by 1234
Enter 000 and press the 'Sp-phone' key twice.
Enter the hour (2 digits), followed by the FWD/DND key, enter minutes
(2 digits), followed by the FWD/DND key
Press the AUTO ANSWER key to select between AM or PM.
Press the AUTO DIAL key, followed by HOLD and then Program (or Pause)
to exit.
Panasonic KX-TA624 and KX-TE308 / 824
The time and date can only be set from the first display telephone on the system.Keeping the handset on hook, press Program Dial 0
Now enter 2 digits for the year (00-99)
Enter 2 digits for the month (01-12)
Enter 2 digits for the date (01-31)
Enter 1 digit for the day of the week (0-6, where 0 is Sunday)
Enter 2 digits for the hour (01-12)
Enter 2 digits for the minutes (00-59)
Now press 0 for AM or 1 for PM
Press the Auto Dial store key to save the programming
Press program to return the telephone to normal operation.
